We will show you just how easy it is to create professional looking cookies using royal icing, candy wafers and edible transfer sheets. Class will include a demo on rolling and baking tips for cut-out sugar cookies, printed recipes, and plenty of time for you to practice. Students will take home approximately 10 – 12 Spring themed decorated cookies. Minimum age recommended: 14 yrs.

You’ll be amazed at how easy and fun it is to create realistic-looking gum paste flowers, like Gerbera daisies, briar roses, Stargazer lilies and more. Your Instructor will lead you every step of the way as you craft life-like blossoms and leaves for floral arrangements that top the most beautiful cakes. And, you won’t need to bring a cake to this course, so you can focus on your flowers. As you learn each new technique, you’ll be closer to your sensational finale: a beautiful floral spray that showcases your expanded decorating skills! (prerequisites: Decorating Basics Class & Gum Paste and Fondant Class)

In Gum Paste and Fondant you’ll will discover one of the most exciting and satisfying ways to decorate a cake. Your Instructor will lead you every step of the way as you create amazing hand shaped flowers, beautiful borders and bold accents using these easy-to-shape icings. As you learn each technique – an artful bow, mum, rose, carnation, calla lily, rosebud, daisy and embellished borders – you’ll be closer to your crowning achievement: A Final Course Cake that displays your skills. The confidence you’ll gain as you decorate with gum paste and fondant will enable you to create cakes that will add excitement to your family celebrations for years to come.
